I trying to understand that police rage and reaction. What was that militarization about?
What was that gear about as Chris Hayes is asking?

It's all about fear. These cops are simply TERRIFIED of the people they are paid to protect.

In this case, what's most likely driving that fear is the knowledge that they allowed a racist cop in their midst and he eventually murdered a kid.

The absolutely know that when the facts come out, this community, these people, are going to be asking for their heads on a platter.

Last night was the reaction of a heavily armed, deeply guilty, fearful police agency.

remember him since I live near there and all. I've always been bad with names, and it's only getting worse as I age.
