Man requests own armored personnel vehicle from Pentagon

The Pentagon has made it increasingly easy for police departments to acquire this hardware, particularly if they live in what is termed a HIDTA or “High Intensity Drug Trafficked Area.”
I live in one of these areas.
While I am not a police department, I embrace the philosophy that self-policing is necessary for the safety and security of a free state, and have put in a request form for an armored personnel carrier. It’s only a page long! Seriously, I did it over my lunch break, and you should too.
