DNCC calls consistently, but so far I've resisted sending money.

Here in Virginia, Mark Warner will be running for reelection, and Lawrence Gaughan is running against the republican incumbent. Every time the DNCC calls and thanks me for my past support (I was a monthly supporter of Obama during his last reelection campaign), I tell them I'm spending my money on my local races.

Am I spending my money wisely by staying local?

As I don't like the way DNCC or other 'official' Dem institutions make decisions about whom to support, I do it myself too.

I don't have the money right now anyway, but if I did I would resist. I'm not sure how they spend it. I do not like their ads, I don't think they work hard enough on behalf of most democrats. They are run by corporate democrats, very different from most of us. Corporations are not people.
