As much as I love her, she'd be even MORE polarizing than Toad or Gregory. You cannot name one person on the right who takes Rachel for anything but a crazy lesbian left-wing shill. There are other people out there who can ask balanced questions, push back against bullshit, etc, without having the host be a pure partisan. Rachel would be great if all we wanted was a Sunday morning version of TRMS. But, the point of MTP was supposed to be about actual policy-makers meeting actual journalists, with an impartial moderator. Gregory was never impartial, and Maddow would not be, either, simply because the right hates everything she says. They're almost better going with an unknown. All of the "stars" you can name come pre-loaded with an agenda.
