http://www.addictinginfo.org/2014/08/08/these-white-people-just-made-an-app-for-avoiding-black-neighborhoods/Someone please stop the crazy white people. SketchFactor, helps users avoid sketchy neighborhoods, and by sketchy they mean poor and non-white. Yet, far from being condemned as racists by the tech community, grinning Caucasian c0-founders, Allison McGuire and Daniel Herrington are finalists in a $20,000 startup contest!

Today's sketchy neighborhood is tomorrow's new hip place to live in NYC. Due to gentrification, many "sketchy" neighborhoods have quickly become high price real estate.

For example the small town where I live is infested with the Klan and Tea Party who are mostly very quiet. It would have come in handy before I bought a house here.
