McCain: Whether he's just senile or evil (or both), he's a frecking hypocrite

McCain has joined the usual weekend blabber bots blaming Obama for the mess in Iraq - and for the troops being pulled out of Iraq. But wait - WHO pulled the troops out of Iraq? And in regards to that, just 4 years ago, what was his opinion of it? This:

GEORGE W. BUSH deserves some CREDIT, certainly, for this mess and for premature withdrawal of troops and premature declaration of "Mission Accomplished". In fact ALL the "credit" should go to GWB.

"The conservative world is an endless shooting gallery of hypocrites, con men, narcissists, and walking examples of this or that species of cognitive malfunction"

I think John McCain is the walking epitome of all that.

They have to have huge egos just to survive.

He is kind of like Dick Cheney in that way. Talk about someone who just has to be in the spotlight.

Narcissists are incapable of feeling empathy. And they need to always be the center of attention.

I was completely done with John McCain when I read that (in a bus full of other people) he called his wife a stupid cunt.
That was it for me. That told me all I needed to know about that man.

My understanding is that when Sen McCain has a staff meeting, the only thing that he is interested in is what issue(s) will get him the biggest headlines ... and he has been like that for years. Long before his 2008 candidacy, in fact.

There is no link - this information is from personal anecdote, directly from a former staffer (most disillusioned with McC after working with him "up close" and very happy to be former).

he says something moderately reasonable, and then a few days later, he says something that's a complete 180 of his somewhat reasonable statement, and then deny he ever said different. He's really been doing this on & off for years now... I think he says what he feels at first, and then an aide tells him he can't say that, and McCain will then go back to his hard RW talking points.

He claims that he only provided information after his capture because of torture. Some accounts of fellow prisoners don't buy that and referred to him as "Songbird."

Decades of practice in abandoning whatever other principles he may have had, however, have probably made his definition of torture a little flexible. I haven't seen him crusade for transparency that would help us ferret out torturers, for instance. Out of sigh, out of mind.

The problem with this guy is that he has no self-awareness. He wouldn't understand what you're talking about. Bush won. Obama lost. What's the problem here? Hungh!?!?!

Here's the deal: A man who crashes five planes and survives all of them is the answer to a trivia question, and that's about it.

- He should never be put in charge of jackshit because he's obviously reckless. And lucky.

and stupid to think that we don't or can't keep up with his every changing dialoge
As far as I'm concerned he is a traitor, traitor to his fellow Prisoners of War. This coming from a guy who help train pilots in Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape. No where in the training is it mentioned that you are allowed to use your fellow Prisoners as bargaining chips. Something he did if you will remember. Name, Rank and Serial Number is all that is allowed, no if, and or buts about that.
F* mcCain, put him out to pasture, he's done way to much harm already
