Please...let it die a quiet death. It is embarrassing enough that a jury allowed it to stand. Put it out of its misery.

I agree the OP is not worthy of DU, but the responses are.

We tend to alert/hide far too many posts that should stand so all can see how callous/ignorant some folks are, especially when the replies disagree.

Personally, I find the founding fathers were hypocrites for talking liberty and stuff, while owning slaves.
