Right-wing media fanning the flames of paranoia over Ebola

Headlines on sites like Drudge, InfoWars, and Glenn Beck's Blaze have been screaming headlines like "OHIO WOMAN TESTED FOR EBOLA", "SIX MORE TESTED IN NYC FOR EBOLA". People pick up these stories and share them with others on social media, which only increases the public paranoia regarding the current outbreak. Of course, these websites never publish headlines once these tests come back negative. Even while the CDC and majority of outlets are urging calm, these right-wingers are doing their best to push people into panic mode. They've even gone so far as to accuse the US of lying about the true scope of the outbreak, completely ignoring the fact that many other countries have access to the exact same data that we do, that other countries besides the US have been studying the Ebola virus for years.

I'm sure that much of this comes from their absolute hatred for Obama, and their desire to pin everything and anything directly on him. I suspect a good part of this also stems from their inherent racism. In their minds, nothing good can come from Africa.

Just frustrating to see so much blatant disinformation being spread around, especially when the public is already confused and worried.
