DU adds a new group! Eating Disorders Support (Group)

Not a terribly popular topic, but an important one nonetheless. If you are interested in discussing eating disorders there is now a place to discuss these issues. The group mission statement is the following:

A safe haven to discuss issues and experiences related to disordered eating concerns; including resources, news, and research related to such disorders including, but not limited to, food addictions, anorexia, bulimia, binge eating and compulsive overeating, as well as body image issues.

Thank you to steve2470 for proposing this group and getting the admins to add it to DU.

1. This is a good move.

It's an important topic that affects nearly everyone in some way; all of us probably know, perhaps really care deeply about, someone suffering from these issues.



I hope that cutting and SI are included topics as these symptoms often have the same root causes and sometimes affect the same individuals.
