Random thought on corporate religion/Hobby Lobby

Seems to me that it should be as simple as this: if a corporation seeks profit, it already has a religion by default - worship of money. And that should void its claim to any other religion.

If Hobby Lobby or anyone corporation wants to have a god other than Mammon, it should at least be a non-profit. Any sensible law would recognize that Hobby Lobby's claim to sincerely-held religious belied is necessarily far more tenuous than that of, say, Little Sister of the Poor!

Surely the owners of Hobby Lobby have no grounds for objection, at least not if they accept Matthew 6:24. (Of course, the Sermon on the Mount seems to be a part of Jesus' career right-wing "Christians" tend to overlook in favor of obscurities from the Old Testament...)

If a person who is applying for a job religious following/preference can not be a factor considered for employment or be a factor in forced termination of employment.
Then the religious preferences of any individual connected to the organization can not be considered by the organization.
Opinions which are beyond consideration can not be implemented as company policy.
Might as well declare the company favorite color as Mauve. It would be equal in depth of meaning as declaring a company religion.

Except, opinions implemented as policy which cause needless complications to the lives of employees end up with meaning and consequences.
Declaring the company right handed and insisting all employees act accordingly, barely effects the majority of employee. The few forced to deal with and be evaluated by the artificial dominance of their right hand, get their lives made hard for no valid reason.
