Fox Fear Mongers An Islamic Terrorist Is On His Way To You Any Day Now, Thanks To Obama
The Hannity show brought back the discredited “terrorism expert” Steve Emerson to both frighten the bejesus out of viewers about home-grown terrorists and smear President Obama as their BFF in America. While he was at it, Emerson blamed Obama and Hillary Clinton for the war in Gaza, too.
As I previously wrote about Emerson, “FAIR has reported, his “priority is not so much news as it is an unrelenting attack against Arabs and Muslims,” and, as Media Matters reported, he has a history of peddling misinformation.”
But on Hannity, Emerson’s credentials were unquestioned and nothing he said was challenged.
Although Emerson stressed that there’s no immediate threat to us viewers, he also suggested something terrible could happen at any time, thanks to Obama:
There are many, many jihadists… who can be mobilized on a moment’s noticed.
…The problem is exacerbated by the fact that we have an administration that’s in bed with these radical Islamic groups that pretend to be moderate or civil rights groups that have basically curtailed the ability of the FBI, DHS, ICE agents to monitor, do investigations or even prosecutors. Prosecutors now have to petition the Department of Justice to use the word “jihad” in indictments.
This shows you the extent to which this administration has neutered the whole campaign to stop jihadism and basically interfered, Monica, with the ability of FBI agents to do their job. We saw what happened in Boston, right? Why didn’t they stop that one?
