Picketers walking at Market Basket distribution center to protest job fair

(Snip)

“We’ve got about 1,000 to 1,500 people here (picketing) across from the office,” said Tom Trainor, one of eight longtime senior employees fired by Market Basket on July 20 for allegedly taking “significant actions that harmed the company,” including spearheading the employee protests and job walk-offs.

“From what I’ve seen, nobody’s gone in,” Trainor said. “No new employees went across the line that hadn’t already been working before.”
