(111,267 posts)but I keep a pint of it around to spray thrift store clothing that has residual cigarette stink in it. While vodka doesn't eliminate it completely, it cuts down on the funk.
It seems to cut down on other funk, as well.

(16,191 posts)My dad used to keep his razor in a highball glass with a bit of rum at the bottom. Not only does that trick help the blade to last longer, but keeping the blade doused in alcohol prevents infection if you accidentally nick yourself. Or so he said, anyway.
