AFP Says Israeli shelling hit another UN school - UN Says At Least 15 People Killed
Gaza City (Palestinian Territories) (AFP) - An Israeli shelling on a UN school in Gaza killed 20 people early Wednesday, medics said, as Palestinian factions were to head to Cairo to discuss a temporary humanitarian ceasefire.
On Wednesday morning, an Israeli shell slammed into a UN school being used as a shelter for those displaced by fighting, killing 20 people, emergency services spokesman Ashraf al-Qudra said.
The shell hit the Palestinian refugee agency (UNRWA) girls' school in Jabalia refugee camp.
A UN official confirmed the shelling, saying it hit a bathroom and two classrooms in the school, but gave a lower initial death toll of 13 to 15.
The incident occurred after 5:30 am (0230 GMT), and a couple of hours after Israeli tanks had begun heavy shelling in the area, an AFP correspondent said.

At what point do they recognize these civilian killings as illegal and immoral? International law already says that Israel is acting outside of any expectation of civilian rights. Is anyone in Washington willing to stand up and declare these attacks as out of bounds? What are they waiting for?
How many non-combatant Palestinians need to die before they can be regarded as victims of Israel? These attacks are far outside of any need for Israel's self-defense. This is genocide, no matter what responsibility they attribute to Hamas for Israel's initiation and prosecution of these deadly and indiscriminate attacks.
NO ONE is responsible for this many attacks on innocent civilians, except the ones attacking them
