If ACA gets struck down, it will be another generation or two before our government goes back to the table on this. In the meantime those who have everything and nothing to lose will try to eliminate Social Security and Medicare as well. I don't share the optimism that it will lead to Medicare for All.

So I think the Occupy Movement needs to make this part of their agenda. If I lived on the other side of the country, I would be outside the Supreme Court and in the halls if I could get in there every day with signs registering my disgust with their interference in what the people need and want.

If ACA does get struck down, maybe the Dems will at last realize that they have nothing to lose by going for another round on this issue, and this time going for broke. After all, much of what is in ACA is originally from the Republican side of the aisle, and they still don't like it. Might as well go for what we really need and want.
