But sad that this has to be done. There is so much pressure put on schools and kids to succeed in these tests. This has to change.

I wish every parent could see this. I wish every parent would think for a moment about the teachers at Newtown who quite literally gave their lives trying to save other people's children. For many kids, a teacher will be one of the most influential people in their lives. And your children may not "like" their teacher, but they can still learn from them. If your districts allow, volunteer as a parent. Surprisingly, I know many parents who don't work who do not volunteer. I know that many people are working too many jobs to help, but if you can, help. But please, support the schools as they are being attacked from all sides.
