Did you know? Gov. Jerry Brown put the final nail in Prop 8's coffin on Monday!

Associated Press

SACRAMENTO — Gov. Jerry Brown has signed legislation replacing language in state law that defines marriage as "between a man and a woman."

Senate Bill 1306 takes effect Jan. 1, reflecting the legality of gay marriage after a decade of litigation. Brown announced the signing Monday.

Last year, the US Supreme Court upheld lower court rulings that Prop 8 was unconstitutional. While gay couples have been able to get married since the high court decision, Prop. 8 was still in the state code.

Ted Olson ever did. It doesn't make up for Bush v Gore, but it was good.

I can't speak for NorCal, however. will say that it has been quite warm and muggy down here all week. not certain if that is part of the gay agenda.

If you have DISH, you can catch Ann Northrop and Andy Humm on FreespeechTV (9415). I'm hetero, but I LOVE to listen to those two discuss Gay News. It's kind of hard to catch, but they replay it three times a week. (It is a weekly program.)
