White House: 2014 deficit to drop to $583B

Dang it.. how dare this President have another success in cleaning up the mess the republicans left us.. Run on this Democrats!!! When Democrats get in office, they start getting things in order.. do NOT let this opportunity pass you up.. We can't survive another republican mess.. first Reagan just threw us into a tail spin.. Clinton got us out of it.. and Bush sent us right back into the dumper.. now this President is pulling us out again, while having to take care of two wars..and finally getting health care on the move.. WASHINGTON (AP) — The White House says this year's budget deficit will drop to $583 billion, the lowest level of President Barack Obama's tenure.

Last year's deficit was $680 billion. The latest update from the White House budget office is also $66 billion less than the administration predicted earlier this year when releasing the president's budget.

The nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office projects an even lower deficit of $492 billion for the budget year ending Sept. 30.

The unexpected White House release came as the Treasury Department announced separately that the government ran a surplus of $71 billion for the month of June

The republicans refused to fund infrastructure aka what Roosevelt did..but we still have been able to pull ourselves forward, and get some stop gaps in place to help people with health care, for a start.. jobs are coming back.. the difference is we do not have union power anymore to heft around.. thank you ronald reagan for nothing.. but you don't give up..

if they had passed the funding for jobs for infrastructure.. the only thing the right has done is sit on their hands..

trying to keep the economy a wreck.. this has to have them pulling their hair out by its roots.. after 8 years of non stop deficits during the Bush years.. this administration without and ounce of help from them has started getting us back up.. Look at how hard the right worked to get our bond rating down..


At some point we have to start celebrating our victories..so people can see that what we stand for works!!
