1. We had a rip roaring desert thunderstorm last night

which might have been more welcome had I not been sitting in an open air concert venue. The show was delayed for nearly an hour, but when it went on, several thousand soggy people were not disappointed.

The show was Ringo Starr and his All Starr Band. If it's coming to a venue near you, spend the money and go. He is still a master showman and a damned good drummer and the show wasn't all memory lane for geezers. All ages were there enjoying what turned out to be a high energy show.

Yeah, I was dancing. I can hardly move today but it's worth it.
