I ride the subway and I am so sick of this. I was even kicked before. So glad they are cracking down on this.

... harassment of subway riders from all sorts of entertainers, panhandlers, entrepreneurs, intimidators, religious haranguers, and subway pests of all variety.

People should be allowed to do ALL of the above ( except intimidators) but not at the expense of subway riders who are literally a CAPTIVE audience.

Within a year of Bloomberg's taking over... the entire subway "workforce" was back at work.

Reminds me of what they used to say about fascism and fascists: they make the trains run on time, sure; but then they tell you where to sit.
