Toronto Mayor Rob Ford: I Was Drunk But Never High at Work

http://www.nbcnews.com/news/world/toronto-mayor-rob-ford-i-was-drunk-never-high-work-n146556

Toronto Mayor Rob Ford said Wednesday that he's used plenty of drugs — but has only boozed in his City Hall office. In an interview with Canadian broadcasters CBC and CP24 two days after he returned to work from rehab, Ford confirmed he was smoking crack in a photo that surfaced in April, months after he vowed he was sober. Asked during one interview whether he had used pot, cocaine, and even heroin, the mayor nodded and said, "You name it...I had a severe problem." In another, he clarified that he had used hallucinogenic mushrooms but not heroin. He said all his drug use was "on personal time" but conceded being "under the influence of alcohol while at work."

Ford, who is running for re-election, refused to answer several questions — including whether he will submit to drug testing, whether he will cooperate with a criminal investigation into former associates and the nature of his relationship with a rehab buddy arrested for driving his car while impaired. The interviews came a day after a shirtless jogger heckled Ford during his first public appearance since rehab.

Well, that's OK, then. What big-city mayor hasn't boozed in his office?

I think Ford left rehab WAY too early.
