New gun safety ad features kids playing with sex toys

A gun safety organization has taken a humorous approach to promote a serious message.

The new ad titled ‘Playthings’ shows two young boys using sex toys for a sword fight.omeo

The tag line for the commercial: “If they find it, they’ll play with it. So always lock up your guns.”

The organization Evolve Together aims to prevent gun violence and was set up to promote proper gun responsibility.

“We've recruited gun owners, manufacturers and retailers to sit alongside non-gun owners,” the group’s website says. “Every individual, gun owner or not, can make a difference by helping to establish gun responsibility as the social norm.”

I support safe storage 100%. I think that many gun owners and pro-RKBA types like me can enthusiastically see the important message within the good humor of this ad.
