Hillary will be our nominee and our next president. Personally, Hillary isn't my first choice, I want Warren to run and be our president, but she's said countless times she's not running. Even though Hillary isn't liberal enough for me, I'll still vote for her because the moment a repub becomes president, all hell will break loose.

(28,784 posts)I hope she confounds her detractors and becomes the force that undoes the corporate usurpation of democracy. She can be the insider, as FDR was, that saves democracy from the oligarchs.

It's campaign season. For November of 2014.
Nobody is running in a primary yet, let alone earning any nominations.
Can you possibly be any more of a hope killer? You really think that telling people that the primaries don't matter and they can just suck up another neoliberal president is going to motivate anyone to campaign or GOTV?

(5,455 posts)Predictions this far out are useless and someone from either party that appears to be the front runner now, could disappear by the time the party convention comes around in 2016 due to health issues, doing/saying something truly stupid or just because they no longer want the damn job.

(9,748 posts)After she loses the first two primaries, and the odds are now against her in both states, people will start seeing her as a non-viable candidate.
I will be very, very surprised if Hillary continues past Super Tuesday.
