(Indiana Democratic) Party officials charged in election fraud

SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WSBT) - Former northern Indiana Democratic Party officials are among several charged in connection with an investigation into fake ballot petitions in the run-up to the 2008 Primary Election.

24-Hour News 8 partner WSBT reports Former St. Joseph County Democratic Chairman Butch Morgan and three others have been charged in an investigation into fake petitions to place Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton on the Indiana Primary Election ballot in 2008.

Morgan is charged with conspiracy to commit forgery and petition fraud. He was booked into the St. Joseph County Jail and immediately posted $10,000 cash bond.

Former Democratic county voter registration board member Pam Brunette is charged with submitting petitions she knew contained forged signatures, and with forgery.

pulling this is about 10x to the number of Democrats. Every Democrat should know that we should never, ever cheat. It's wrong and the laws apply to Dems.

These people sound like idiots, the tampering was unnecessary, if it happened.

stating repubs are more guilty of this w/o evidence is silly, akin to saying someone was not born in this country w/o evidence or stating someone lied w/o evidence. it makes the accuser look like an idiot.
