A central Pennsylvania man was accidentally shot and killed over the weekend by the guest of honor at a surprise birthday party.Cody Gorsline was among about a dozen people at the party in Montoursville early Sunday morning to celebrate the birthday of Derek Gair.
Police said Gair took the 24-year-old Gorsline upstairs about 2 a.m. to show him a handgun,which accidentally fired as he handed the weapon to the victim

(21,716 posts)I thought the guest of honor shot the person because he was so startled by the surprise. Instead, it is a "don't handle a gun when you have been drinking" story. I'm sure the NRA will put out some bullshit about this one.

(12,157 posts)Gunning under the influence or will intoxicated- depending upon the state. Yes there should be a law. But what about all those guys going out on 1st day of deer season with a mother of a hangover that they nursed with some of the hair of the dog that bit them.
