Here's where Santorum got his bullshit about the Univ. of California

A study by this organization I'm not familiar with, the National Association of Scholars.

The study not surprisingly does not say what Santorum claims. Instead it seems to be the same old shit about how Universities say mean things about America.

From the link:

John Ellis, president of the California Association of Scholars, said, “The quality of education at the University of California has been jeopardized by political activism. Dogmatism is rapidly displacing open-minded inquiry, especially in the social sciences and humanities, to the severe disadvantage of students.” Ellis added, “Public confidence in the University is also eroding.”

of universities/colleges in Florida? They wanted to get their "approved" professors into universities/colleges so they would teach only what they wanted them to teach?

I don't have time to read all the article right now, but did hear Rachel's bit on Santorum's remarks, last night. I will read the article when I get back home. The group smells of Koch.

Their big thing is being against multiculturalism (ie. against minorities), and blather about the superiority of "Western" culture.

They get their funding from billionaire right-wingers like Richard Mellon Scaife and John Olin.

The executive director of the NAS likes to write for The American Conservatives, which also has writings by the likes of notorious racist Peter Brimelow.
