care about jobs. That was just spouted by Nikki Haley on the view and I have heard other rethugs with same garbage. Joy Behar would not let her get away with that lie. Barbara Walters is always changing the subject to protect her guest.

(9,494 posts)If you have 8 kids at home you are not going to be able to get a job anyway. You know you can't get by on one salary when you are popping kids out every year!
And let's not forget the women who's doctors can legally withhold information about serious deformities of their fetuses? Even conditions that can kill a pregnant woman. She won't need to work because she'll either be dead or spending all of her time desperately trying to keep a horrendously sick infant alive for the short, painful time it has on earth.
Maybe Nikki Haley should be the first sent to the Republican Breeding Farm.

(2,940 posts)Caring about jobs and caring about reproductive rights are not mutually exclusive. No way.
I mean, it's obviously to set up a false dichotomy - they want their people to hear, "Only Republicans care about jobs, Democrats only care about contraception."
I hope American women don't let Haley and Romney and the others tell them what they can and can't care about. Are we supposed to believe that somehow giving up reproductive rights is the only way to create jobs? That doesn't even make any sense.
Argh. This shit makes me so angry.

(39,215 posts)be even poorer. We would be a real third world country with more children than we could ever hope to afford. Contraception has everything to do with economics.
They refuse to admit they made a mistake by politicizing & attacking women's health care, so now they are trying to tell us what we think?
These guys are seriously out of touch with the average American woman.
I know several repub women & one teabagger & all the repub women are pissed off by this blatant attack on our health care. The fundy -not so much, but the repubs out number her by 5-1.
