When is Tax Freedom Day?

http://www.cbpp.org/cms/index.cfm?fa=view&id=3738&emailView=1

"The Tax Foundation released its annual “Tax Freedom Day” report today that, once again, leaves a strikingly misleading impression of tax burdens — announcing an “average” tax rate across the United States that’s likely higher than the tax rate that 80 percent of U.S. households actually pay."

Back in the days before JR Bush, the papers in Iowa used to do an article on this BS every year, helping, of course, to make the argument for the Bush tax cuts. I have not heard that much about it since moving to Kansas. CBPP lays out pretty clearly why it is a bunch of pro-rich propaganda.
