trauma and ptsd end up going through new growth where they interconnect with the world better. Think of all the GIs coming home from WWII. Women too went through a lot during that war. Look at the liberal democracy they built in the next 35 years. Now look at how shallow the emotions of the GOP are and what they are trying to do to the country. Is this why Bush tried to run a war that required no sacrifice of ordinary Americans?

the differences in human response in terms of simply experiencing the PTSD: why does it impact some, but not all? Also depth of emotions (I supposed, sensitivity)?

2. All I Know is my PTSD kicks my ass,and it is terrible.

I wonder if narcissists,authoritarians and sociopaths can get ptsd?
They are shallow people,often with no emotional responses to things that knock emotional people facing the trauma through a loop.

I'd love to see a study on this.
