You sit in a car or bus or some other vehicle. I'll stay awake for 3 days then I'll get behind the wheel of a 18 wheeler and see if I can stop a fully loaded 18 Wheeler without hitting the car where you are sitting.

(13,598 posts)If so, that's unquestionably criminally reckless.
If not, your proposed experiment is extremely misleading.

(95,337 posts)But even one day without sleep is not good.
Hell I would start nodding off just from having too many carbs before a long trip which is why I avoid carbs before driving long trips.

(2,805 posts)Any time he defends some action, it is something he has done or considered doing himself. He is entitled and terrified of authority.
He has probably felt a little sleepy while driving and decided to push through to his destination rather than stopping for a rest. Therefore, he can't allow it into his consciousness that such an action could be illegal. He can't believe anything he would/has done is illegal and would be shocked if he were cited for "driving while tired". So he defends this guy who as a professional driver should have known better.
"Everyone" (meaning him, has done it) so therefore it must be legal. Perish the thought Tucker could end up in jail for his decisions if an activist judge cravenly didn't recognize his affluenza.

(20,851 posts)For falling asleep and causing a death? Schwartz asked. Absolutely.
Do they try to know as little as possible before going on the air or is all the show prep in the world not enough to inform Tucker's opinion before it exists his pie hole. This guy is so dumb and yet manages to survive in the media based on his connections. LOL.

(1,363 posts),,in a row for driving, and he was pushing through to the end. He's free on bond, but will probably get charged with reckless homicide. For Carlson and the other mumbling fools who spouted this crap...it's irresponsible and glaringly ignorant. And Carlson knows better that say crap like that. The term for such nonsense is 'Gohmerting'.
