I think about how some (not all) men don't believe us when we talk about being raped or the lesser forms of harassment most of us women have encountered here and there in our lives.

I wish I could ask those men who don't believe us, wherever they may be, "haven't you run into jerks in your life? Other guys who stab you in the back, who go out of their way to make your day a bad one? Well, those same kinds of guys, are jerks to us women, too. And the form it often takes is sexual assault, domestic violence, catcalls in the street."

I think most everyone would believe us if we said, we've encountered some jerks in our lives.
