Rush Limbaugh to Speak at Conference on World Affairs
RUSH LIMBAUGH TO SPEAK AT CONFERENCE ON WORLD AFFAIRS
Boulder and the University of Colorado at Boulder are pleased to
announce that Rush Limbaugh, well-known talk radio host, will speak at
the 64th annual Conference on World Affairs. He will broadcast his
regular three-hour fair and balanced radio show from Macky Auditorium
on April 2. Many important Boulder and campus organizations worked
together to urge the CWA to invite Mr.Limbaugh to speak at the
conference, including the Communist Club, Socialists in Society,
Occupy the Flatirons, Occupy U-Hill, Women's Health Clinic,
N0Choice4U.org, Vegan Justice League, CU Law Caucus, Vagina Monologues
VDay Mission, Snobs Against Student Slavery, Sports Against Title IX,
Ralphie and the Prairie Dogs, PETA Boulder, Fashionistas and Feminazis
for Rush, Atheists for Religion, Veterans for Viagra, Big Oil Blog,
The Fracking Fraternity, Campaign to End Campaigns, Save the Whales
and Coyotes, Old Hippies Never Die, Cold Dead Hands Gun Club, Homeless
Living on Valmont Butte, and Texting Indoctrinated Students for Peace.
Mr. Limbaugh says that he is excited to come to Boulder and while here
plans to hike on our Open Space, do some climbing in Eldorado Canyon,
and teach a yoga class at Naropa University. He also said he would
love to run in the Bolder Boulder and is in training for the USA Pro
Cycling Challenge to be held in Boulder in August. Celestial
Seasonings will sponsor a luncheon for Mr. Limbaugh at the Dushanbe
Tea House; all vegan food served will be locally grown, organic, and
lactose free and purchased from Boulder's Farmers Market. Mr.
Limbaugh will then distribute free contraceptive pills and condoms to
all CU students and faculty who are on food stamps and to all NIST,
NOAA, NREL, NCAR, CIRES and JILA employees.
On the panel with Mr. Limbaugh will be Sandra Fluke, student at
Georgetown Law School, and Tracie McMillan, author of "The American
Way of Eating." The topic will be "How to Exterminate Prairie Dogs in
Boulder and Liberal Professors at CU." As of this writing it is not
yet confirmed that Rupert Murdoch and Joseph Kony will attend the
Conference.
