The Racist Bigoted Authorities In Florida

The authorities handling the Tayvon Williams situation are doing nothing but engaging in Kabuki Theater. They have already made a decision to do nothing. What is worse they are more than determined to guarantee that Zimmerman walks free and never suffers a single consequence. They are like almost all the other authorities in the South. You can murder who you want as long as it is not a white person. The Bubba's of that region and sadly the ones in northern states as well have never gotten over the fact that the Yankees kicked their butt all over the planet. Now they are more than determined to start a new war.

They are counting on the fact that the federal authorities can do nothing either. The RW is setting the situation up that if the feds do anything substantive that they will excoriate the Obama administration for interfering with local authorities to police its own area. The teabaggers will be out in force intimidating Matrin supporters. The GOP wants to cause a race war before the election for political gain.

As far as I am concerned we are going right back to the environment at the start of the civil rights movement. I believe the same atmosphere exists throughout the South and that there are more killings of a similar nature. These Bubba's will never give up putting the minorities in their place. And they hate Democratic activists just as much.

and has been for generations, sure there are a few sane people but in my experience living there, very few are sane hence why I left never to return again.

IMHO people need to self-separate as in liberals and progressives need to abandon places, states, regions that do not hold or support your values.

but in my direct experience in FL and other places in the south it is the norm and ingrained.

Of course I am only a white male over 50 who has traveled and lived all over America and the world and have been paying attention his entire life so WTF do I know?

I am not bashing the south either, just relating my direct experience, nothing more.

Think about President Obama without thinking he is Black. Think of Romney without thinking he is White. How did you do?

Look at a person without noticing the Race?

Now how can we write a Statute to prevent the brain from profiling? That is mission impossible.

The answer is to solve the conflicts between the Races so that it does not matter.

with Dr. King at the first go-'round, they are the voices that represent the activist community, both black and white, to nip this in the bud. Neither of these men is inciting anything, but speaking the truth and getting it out there is a reality the Bubbas don't want to recognize.
