1. He is very handsome. What a terrible tragedy. With all the controversy raging over this case

it is so sad that his family probably has not had the space to be able to grieve properly.

2. The pictures are enough to make the most hardened of us tear up

but it shouldn't take pictures to humanize him and make his life valuable. Trayvon's family shouldn't need to prove his worth. I find this very sad.

I don't think the OP is unusual in using that description - I think we all do it. Someone shows a baby picture or a picture of any loved one and humans often respond with "how cute" "how pretty" "how handsome". The baby can be butt ugly and look like a plucked chicken but most people will still say "how cute".
