http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2012/04/01/keith-olbermann-s-angry-e-mail-trail-traces-breakup-with-current-tv.htmlOn Aug. 2, 2011, according to e-mails reviewed by The Daily Beast, Olbermanns manager, Michael Price, sent Hyatt a list of about 40 deficiencies that needed to be corrected. Six days later, Price told Hyatt that the problems required immediate attention and that we are not aware of any demonstrable effort to address the issues.
Yes, as a viewer, who saw every episode of Countdown on Current these glitches happened.

(13,587 posts)That wasn't anything that made me less likely to watch. Keith not bothering to show up for work made me less likely to watch though. I'm not impressed with his behavior.
The few times I watched and there were any small glitches, he looked off camera and made snide, hateful remarks with a if looks could kill glare. Then he would look back at the camera and act like he didn't just rip someone a new asshole. Had he ignored whatever glitch happened at the time, I doubt any viewer would give the glitch a second thouht. Instead, his little Jekyll and Hyde moment on live TV made it soooo much more obvious.
I never could make the switch over to Current from MSNBC for the evening lineup. I have gotten so used to the more likeable TV/anchor personalities on MSNBC both on their indiviudal shows and as panels during election coverage...who knows, they probably have their "moments", too, but at least they keep their dirty laundry hidden away when the cameras are rolling and they come across as team players who like each other (or at least respect their viewers enough to let us think they like each other!)
