How do we Move On Forward in the Coming Years?
Sort of in a "Down Mood" right now. Wondering what comes after Obama. So much we hoped for hasn't been solved and folks will say with RW Repugs that there was No Chance of Obama being able to fulfill the "Hope and Change" that was promised once he found out after his Inauguration that the MIC/MSM/ ruled it all.
So...now into his Second Term where we are looking forward to Mid-Term Elections where we are all going to GOTV and put "More and Better Dems Into Power" and then immediately after we start to focus on "2016 Presidential Election." The current front runners are Hillary Clinton (who is considered a given) and Bernie Sanders (Independent) or Elizabeth Warren (who has said she is not Running).
Anyone got any Ideas for the Progressive Left who isn't so fond of Hillary Clinton and the "Old Ways" of the Democratic Party that many of us feel didn't honor their COMMITMENT to their Left or even "Populist for the People" (the "Man from Hope Arkansas" (Clinton) or, the Man from "Hope and Change" (Obama) rhetoric when they all ran with their Fancy Speeches and Populist "For the People Speeches.". We enthusiastically showed up at the Polling Places... Elected them and "Watched and Waited." And, it all sounded SO GOOD in the beginning with Both of Them...until ...the years went on...and it turned out so different from what we voted for.
That's what the Democrats have. Hillary or "Insurgents" who may or may not be running in 2016.
What happened to the Democratic Party that we only have ONE VIABLE CANDIDATE? And are left to "insurgents" to challenge her.
Then there's the Republican Party...... Lots of Candidates. No One there that any Progressive Dem could Vote for or even Consider.
Yeah!...this is a sad post.....from a somewhat disillusioned Dem...but one who still works local...turns out for every election since I was old enough to vote...and has been active for Dem Causes my whole life.
I'm LOOKING FOR the FUTURE...FOR ENERGY..GOING FORWARD. Where will it come from?
Why is Hillary Clinton our Only Choice for 2016? Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders are our Hopeful Backups...but...we know they won't get the money...to get them to Presidency (although I want both in the Primary)...But WHY is it HILLARY? Where is the Grooming of the Dem Party for New Voices after Clinton and Obama? Why has our Party not Recruited them during the Obama years?
Many Questions..probably few answers because there are none to answer the questions ....or, one is not supposed to ask.
