To the cast & crew of Amazing Spider-Man 2 -->>THANK YOU<<--

http://www.theamazingspiderman.com/site/

Marta and I saw it late this afternoon. There is a scene at the very end just for the younger audience members.

I know a certain youngster has been in and out of the hospital too many times with fevers and epilepsy. His meds throw his balance off often. But he is a happy kid. He loves Spider-Man. Guess what super hero he went door to door as last Halloween? Did I give it away? I wish I could be there to see it when he finally gets to see it for himself this weekend.

It was so touching to know what this moment in the theater would mean to many kids as I watched. It has been a long time since I saw a scene with a special moment for kids in an adult super hero flick.

And thanks to Stan Lee. I was reading Amazing Spider-an and the Fantastic Four back in the early 60's. Batman and Superman too. Then came the Saturday cartoons. Funny how those old memories can come back while watching a present day special effects extravaganza. To the good old days of heroes & villians.
