Has the White House responded to the petition to get Rush off AFN?

My understanding is that any petition that reaches over 25,000 signatures requires a formal response. Last I checked, the petition was WELL ABOVE the 25K requirement.

This ass-hat absolutely must be removed from the Armed Forces Network. I'm active duty, and we are in a struggle right now to address and fix the issue of sexual assault and harassment in the military. Having this ass-pickle, on AFN, describing women as "sluts and prostitutes" who should "video tape and post their sexual encounters on the internet", is a virtual rape of all the military is supposed to stand for.

Enough is enough!

You're right, the WH pledged to provide an official response if signatures reached the 25,000 threshhold (and it's now over 27,000).

At the petition page there's a tab to the right of the petition to see 'Recent Responses.'

There's also a tab on the bottom of the 'We the People' banner that can be clicked to see responses. They're showing 59 responses there at the moment.
