Happy Mother's Day! I have four new ones!!!

Birdies by our front door this morning! Yep, all four of 'em are up!

They grow up and leave the nest too fast....but I appreciate the voracious appetite they have for mosquitoes. Congrats to you, and thanks for the great photos.

Glad you're here! They sure do grow up and leave too fast, whether they're on wings or just simply groundlings on two feet! This is the second year in a row for that little nest, though. A year ago at this same time, but I just didn't have the presence of mind to think of taking pictures. Three hatchlings last year. Now, FOUR! But in the interim when that was literally an empty nest, I'd see it every time we went in and out and I'd think about the whole empty-nest thing. Bummer. It looked so lonely up there with nothing going on inside. So glad to see it's getting used again! How's THAT for recycling!?!
