Unfortunately, yes.

In the interview, Geithner recalls something that Bill Clinton once told him:
That's how Bill Clinton views you for thinking that the banks should have faced accountability for wrecking the global economy and numerous people's lives.
And Hillary probably views you no differently than Bill does:

(69,014 posts)Bill will always rather make nice and I'm sure she did learn that from him. But the climate is different now. Assuming WITH NO EVIDENCE that the reaction will be the same is, I dunno, ignorant? Foolish? FOX-like?

(62,271 posts)More diplomatic than any other. Yet she'll still get the same BS "shrill evil lying" tripe that we'll just have to come to accept. I don't think she got the whole "make nice, be diplomatic" stuff from Bill, I think it comes to her naturally, but as a woman she has to endure the stereotypes.

(62,271 posts)She will do everything to distance herself from Bill's self-admitted bad policies.
To say that she will "follow William" is a farce, and actually, is just more of questioning Clinton's integrity. The same argument will be used against her by both the left and right once she announces she is running. "An HRC presidency will be Bill Clinton 2.0."
It will ultimately prove wrong and we're going to like HRC as President. Bank on it.

If we want candidates who will be mean to the banksters we need to stop voting for and supporting those who are nice to them.
