Well, dayum....

...I figured when I emailed an advertiser with a banner ad across the whole FN top of my Yahoo home page, I would just get total BS or be ignored. I bitched at Yahoo a ton of times over their obnoxious ads on my home page. I would change home pages...but after all these years and the way I have calendar reminders set up, just could not come up with an alternative. But, yuck, all those crappy ads all over the top of the Yahoo home page were totally getting to me.

So....I decided I would go straight to the companies with the offensive ads. I email them this AM and told them to take a look at the complaints about their style of ad from Yahoo users -- boycotting any company which offends.

Tonight...I went to my home page...no FN banner ad plastered all over the top of my home page.

I am sitting here, scratching my head and wondering... Could someone have actually listened to a consumer???

Wow...

I hope it lasts through the next cycle of Yahoo "hey, we have a new look!" ~upgrades~
