To Fox "News": If Newt is still "Speaker Gingrich" why NO "Judge Robert Zimmerman" in your "news"?

It's no surprise that 14 years after Newt Gingrich was forced to resign in disgrace by his own party that Fox "News" still regularly refers to him as "Speaker Gingrich".

https://encrypted.google.com/search?hl=en&as_q=&as_epq=speaker+gingrich&as_oq=&as_eq=&as_nlo=&as_nhi=&lr=&cr=&as_qdr=y&as_sitesearch=www.foxnews.com&as_occt=any&safe=images&tbs=&as_filetype=&as_rights=

And it's no surprise that Fox "News" would pointedly avoid referring to the father of a murderer who has never been charged, was not drug tested, and was released with his murder weapon, by his title of "Judge Robert Zimmerman".

Nor that a Google Advanced search for the term "Judge Robert Zimmerman" at site www.fownews.com yields exactly ZERO results.

Nor that Fox "News" Orlando affiliate's softball PR interview with Judge Zimmerman NEVER gets around to mentioning that Robert Zimmerman is a retired judge in their video interview.

&feature=youtube

No doubt that, if Fox "News" could get away with totally suppressing this reality, the "Fair and Balanced" channel would NEVER have mentioned it at all.

The naked truth is that it was only after Google searches report at least 58,300 references to "Judge Robert Zimmerman" ( https://www.google.com/#hl=en&sugexp=frgbld&gs_nf=1&pq=%22judge%22%20%20%20%22%20robert%20zimmerman%22&cp=7&gs_id=1i&xhr=t&q=%22judge++robert+zimmerman%22&pf=p&sclient=psy-ab&oq=%22judge++robert+zimmerman%22&aq=&aqi=&aql=&gs_l=&pbx=1&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.r_qf.,cf.osb&fp=86612ae14a08dded&biw=1280&bih=609 ) all from sources OTHER THAN Fox "News", that Fox "News" ever got around to even mentioning, buried in the text of this report, that Robert Zimmerman was a "A former magistrate judge and Vietnam War veteran."

He wasn't a judge, but a magistrate... very very different in Virginia courts system. hlthe2b Mar 2012 #1
Why so little reportage on exactly what he was and when? Was he a "U.S. Magistrate Judge"? Faryn Balyncd Mar 2012 #2
Please re-read my post ^^^ He was a magistrate judge for the state of Viriginia--not Federal hlthe2b Mar 2012 #3

This was given to an ABC affiliate in reference to whether or not Robert ZImmerman was a judge: (http://www.abcactionnews.com/dpp/news/crime/zimmerman-dad-worked-as-magistrate)

“Robert J. Zimmerman served as a full-time magistrate from 2000-2006. Please be advised that in Virginia magistrates are judicial officers, but they are not considered "judges" and do not possess trial jurisdiction. More detailed information on the role of the magistrate in Virginia is available on Virginia's Judicial System Website .”

Very little about him seems to be being reported.

He is a description of "United States Magistrate Judges" http://www.utd.uscourts.gov/judges/qa_magjudge.html

What do you know about his history, appointment, and contacts?

I provided a link to the abc affiliate's story and the link to the Virginia courts system that details what a magistrate is.

It is right there.

I find it strange that George's wife never seems to be mentioned. And how many families in this situation would escape having their photos published anywhere? I have also seen a few stories report that the father used to be in the army but most stories don't mention it. The most I have gleaned apart from the father being a VA magistrate is that the family are devout Catholics and the kids when young were never able to play with other kids.
