Bundy Ranch Still Trying To Turn BLM Standoff Spark Into A National Fire

DYLAN SCOTT – MAY 9, 2014, 11:48 AM EDT

In the heat of his standoff last month with the Bureau of Land Management, Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy wanted to take the movement national. While he was still a favorite of Fox News, he called on "every county sheriff in the United States" to "disarm the federal bureaucrats."

Bundy's star has since faded after he made his views on "the Negro" known. High-profile conservative supporters have abandoned him. But Bundy and his closest allies haven't given up the fight. They still seem to believe that a war is on the horizon and they are trying to rally forces to their side.

The Bundy Ranch site has become a quasi-permanent militia outpost, the Las Vegas Sun reported Thursday. Armed supporters have set up tents outside the Bundy house, and the Bundys have provided them with food. They appear to be still wary of some looming federal incursion -- even though the BLM pulled out nearly a month ago.

But at least one member has bigger ambitions. Ryan Payne told the Sun he wants to turn the ranch into a commune for Las Vegas's homeless veterans.

And if the good patriots start firing on the drone, launch tear gas capsules from the hills.

The police don't seem to have a problem hosing peaceful protesters down with tear gas - why not fire bomb these idiots with it and keep doing it till they leave.

LOL! They are being fed by the Bundys, and now want to invite homeless vets to join them? Im sure the Bundys will appreciate that. Not to mention many homeless (vet or otherwise) have mental and substance abuse problems. Mix in armed wanna-be militia, some PTSD, and temperatures climbing to triple digits in a month, and this is going to be a real powder-keg.

preventing the militia to leave to obtain food and water, then eventually they'll be starved out. The homeless vets will just add to the number of mouths to feed, making the surrender of the militias occur that much sooner.

The types of homeless people showing up to the ranch will undoubtedly have drug problems or be violent felons, registered sex offenders and have various mental health issues. It would only be a matter of time until one of these guys will lash out and it will probably be at a female family member of the Bundy's.

Either way, when they call for help its going to take forever for local law enforcement to mobilize (heh they're not going in alone).

I went to various Occupy encampments in around California and I almost got stabbed by a homeless lady who claimed I was a "gang stalker" so I think it would be a great idea for the Bundy's.

No need to send in drones or blockades provided they stay on the ranch just wait for Ryan Paine to give them a rifle, mediocre weapons training and sit back

Pay close attention i'm specifically talking about the people who will be showing up. I guarantee you, the average homeless person living in a shelter and trying to get back on their feet won't have time to play army on some racist's ranch in 100+ degree weather.

Nice try though

3 Squares and a cot soon. Oh how the boys at the Vegas Detention Center going to love him. Your assholes threatened one of ours and it is going to be payback time. Clark County Sheriff's Department runs all of the jails and also Metro Police. That's going to leave a mark!

Bring it on.

slaughter all the cattle Bundy has in doing so and the problem will pretty much go away by itself, won't it?

It isn't as if he has 10,000 head or anything, and those wankers ought to be able to get a few hundred others together for some good ol' fashioned large meat cookin'
