If the Supreme Court overturns ACA, will it be thus a death sentence for many?

Imagine all the children and young adults that have been able to get universal coverage since the health care law was enacted, for one, not to mention adults getting affordable pre-existing conditions insurance from the govt. I can't imagine standing to go back to the full blown horrors that were shown in the 'Sicko' movie. How can Americans stand to allow fellow Americans to die like this? What does this mean about being an 'American' if citizenship could mean being kicked to the side of the road and left to die?
