The sweetest thing a husband wearing nothing but a tutu ever did for his sick wife.

http://www.happyplace.com/14960/the-sweetest-thing-a-husband-wearing-nothing-but-a-tutu-ever-did-for-his-sick-wife

If the recent Susan G. Komen dustup made you think, "I'd rather give my money to a guy wearing nothing but a tutu in public," now you can! The Tutu Project tells the story of how Bob Carey started taking pictures of himself in a tutu "as a lark," just like we all do on occasion. Once his wife was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2003, the hilarious and surreal photos became a way for the couple to cope with the changes in their lives.

I'd say that this was the greatest thing Gingrich ever did for her. Anything is better than staying with this creep of mythic proportions.

he makes up for in devotion to his wife. Good for him. And very funny! Laughter is one of the best medicines. Can't beat it - or a devoted partner - when you're sick.

Edit: damn typo.

Some DU love for Mr Carey.

who shaved his head as a show of support for his wife who was going through chemo and lost her hair as a result. And he wasn't the type to sport the bald look.

Ladies, we'll do anything for our wives. Except maybe the toilet seat thing.

Check out more of the photos below and remember, Bob Carey is a way better, if far stranger, husband than you.

Creative and well executed way to cope with some of the devastation breast cancer brings.

I have to admit, I'm delighted to see Susan G. Komen sinking lower and lower. We've all found out they are a right wing PAC, not an organization that wants to help women.

This man does, and he's a great person for doing it!

It can and does fall under the following:
Performance Art
Cancer Awareness
Coping with illness
Susan G. Komen
The book that is being produced.

Just because people are choosing not to discuss any of these related subjects does not mean it belongs somewhere else.

Let's refresh our memories:

Discuss politics, issues, and current events. No posts about Israel/Palestine, religion, guns, showbiz, or sports unless there is really big news. No conspiracy theories. No whining about DU.

Unless this photo was taken in the occupied territories by a Palestinian sniper using an Israeli gun sight as a close-up lens, and that cow is actually the famous one from the popular "Happy Cows are From California" TV commercial, and the subject of the photograph is Tim Tebow, and this whole "breast cancer" thing is just a conspiracy by Big Pharma to sell drugs, and the guy's protest is in fact about the jury system on this board, then I'd say the post fits the SOP for the forum.
