I am very afraid of the GOP and the damge they have done...

For anyone who's interested in reading a random thought:

Yesterday I posted a thread entitled 'Patiently Waiting for the end of the GOP'. I stated that I belived that the Right was rotting from the inside out and could not stand for ever in its current form. And I stand behind that. However, I am also very afraid that the damage they've done and may still do until that day will never be repaired.

Since at least the Bush regime (Forgive me because I did not get involved in politics prior to the dictator's time in 'office') there have been many outrageous laws passed that have run roughshod over our civil rights starting with the 'patriot' act and the formation of the Department of Homeland 'Security'. This has spiralled downwards into a society in which we now have state mandated licenses to kill and, perverted senators have endorsed the invasion of womens' bodies for no good reason other than to punish them for seeking abortions. And it gets worse and worse. Who can say what outrages the right will pass before it's over? Who can say?

So while I firmly believe that their behavior has been vile enough ensure that they'll eventually take their rightful place in the fossil record I fear it'll be long ere that day. And the damage they have done, and still can do, is great.

God be with this nation. It will take His protection to see to it we don't all end up as the slaves of the ultra elite.

1. You aren't the only one who feels that way. I fear Obama will win and we will get stuck with

both houses with republican majority. What good will that be? I pray ever night God helps this country. The republican party has a twist mind about who they want to help. If it was up to them we'd be back in the 40s. They scare me to death also. We must make sure we all vote.

3. We all have to do everything we can.

The GOPpers realize they're self destructing and they're going to do everything they can to spite the rest of us and ease their destruction as much as possible. Let's make sure they go down hard and burn.
