Next lie. The gun discharged accidentally.

I have to admit. I'm starting to boil with rage and I'm a nice guy.

If there was an HD video of Zimmerman shooting Trayvon from 10 feet away folks would still be arguing self-defense.

Rush to judgment? It was the police and states attorney that rushed to judgment of acquital. Not the people demanding his arrest.

I don't think they know what kind of fire they are playing with. Or maybe they do and they want a riot.

1. A Riot. That's a very real damned possibility.

I don't recall a public outcry like this since the Simpson media circus. It's baldly obvious that this was a clear cut case of murder or at the very least manslaughter. I believe the real issue is this-if Zimmerman goes to jail then that would be admitting that Stand Your Ground was a bad idea and some people that had a lot to do with getting it put in place would have egg on their face. This is all an attempt by the people who passed a very foolish law to sweep their mistake under the rug.

The corrupt system that keeps the Sanford police department compliant to the point they can be influenced to just sweep a murder under the rug is very important for FIXING ELECTIONS.

Florida is a swing state and elections are important there. Keeping the Graft going is in the vital national interest to the survival of the GOP.

There is no way the GOP wants a probe into Seminole County in an election year.

Trayvon took his gun and shot himself.

How can you change your story after you've told it?

investigators at the scene it seems, but the police chief and the states attorney. It seems Zimmerman's daddy contributes to the latter's campaigns. So it seems to me, even if Martin were white and the old Duty to Retreat law was still in effect, Zimmerman would still be walking around.

As the SYG law is written, Zimmerman should be in jail. It seems while many were distracted (and misinformed) about the law, the problem is money.
If Daddy didn't have money and connections, Zimmerman would have been convicted of domestic violence, if my information is correct, a couple of years ago. Had he been convicted then, no CCW and the feds would have him for possessing a firearm. That would be a 5-10 year felony.

8. Right now, the issue is whether Zimmerman should stand trial.

If he wants to present a defense and convinces the jury of that defense, that is his right.

The special prosecutor will probably soon announce her decision -- and hopefully she will present the evidence to the public that thoroughly supports her decision.

Even if Trayvon struck the first blow to Zimmerman, Zimmerman would need to be tried in my opinion because he admitted in his call to 911 that he was following Trayvon, and therefore, Trayvon would have rightfully believed himself to be in imminent danger and to need to defend himself. Thus, a jury trial is clearly needed to determine the facts.
