Roseanne Barr Joins Twitter Vigilante Crew
Star tweeted home address of George Zimmerman's parents
Oh, not the wrong one like Spike, the real one.
MARCH 29--The comedian Roseanne Barr last night tweeted the home address of George Zimmermans parents to her 110,000-plus Twitter followers, only to delete the posting after not fully understanding that it was private not public.
Barrs posting of the correct Florida address of Robert and Gladys Zimmerman came at the same time Spike Lee was issuing an apology for erroneously disseminating a tweet that purportedly contained the home address of George Zimmerman, who last month killed teenager Trayvon Martin.
What an Effing genius

(1,644 posts)as accessories if anyone is hurt if/when someone attacks the Zimmermans or the elderly couple who were mistaken for them. Let's hope it doesn't go that far. Also, what happens if someone who takes offense at this finds out and tweets the home addresses of Spike Lee and Rosanne Barr? This could go 'round and 'round.

(708 posts)I've paid pretty close attention to this whole Sanford thing, and I haven't seen anywhere that it was the elder Zimmermans who shot Trayvon Martin. Perhaps Rosanne has some sort of clairvoyance that lets her see that the Zimmerman parents actually pulled the trigger, but I'm not quite ready to buy into that just yet.
So Rosanne just decided to torment a couple of innocent people just because she's too damned stupid to tell the difference between people. What an idiot.

(4,310 posts)numbing rage and incredulousness many of us are feeling and fucked -up.
So what! Who doesn't want to do something to see Zimmerman arrested and
charged. As every day passes it becomes less and less likely we will see an
arrest. Why the delay? After reading the local papers and comments there
appears to be a sense of indignation by the locals that the entire world is
demanding they do the right thing. How dare we interfere and disrupt their
community.

(7,776 posts)Unlisted/private or not... what useful purpose, motive or reason would have compelled her (and Lee), to broadcast the home address's (in one case erroneous), of the people involved?
ohheckyeah
(9,314 posts)so I can't answer for her. I simply said an address is not private and unlisted.
Maybe if Zimmerman doesn't want his personal shit out there he should keep his big mouth shut and not be all over the news making bullshit statements.
I wouldn't post someone's personal information but I'm not Roseanne, who has had her personal stuff splashed all over the news repeatedly. I would think that being a celebrity that has no privacy gives her a different perspective about it.
