combinations Oklahoma has considered using. It is beyond disgusting.

OMG! The drugs they used were supposed to calm the guy, paralyze the guy and then kill the buy. What could possibly go wrong.

refuse to sell any of the drugs to the US for use in execution.

We have truly become the type of country that we railed against for so many decades.

middle of the "drug cocktail" makes me totally sick! If you paralyze someone you have no idea just how bad the experience is for the condemned. They could possibly still awake when the final drug is given.

independent third party from outside of Oklahoma. I would not trust the report issued by any type of internal (i.e. within Oklahoma) investigation.

To be a death penalty supporter today is to be a Reaganite. No question. The abolition of the death penalty was one of the great accomplishments of mid-twentieth century liberalism. It was the last triumph of the New Deal. It's resurgence is the Reagan Revolution writ large. Pro-death penalty people are Reaganites, pure and simple.
