It's going to be a long, hot, summer.
Take this opportunity - by recomending this thread - to let your fellow DU'ers know that, for whatever reason, you plan on attending one (or more) protest rally (or rallies), before the November elections.
The more folks who know they will be in good company if they actually get out there in the streets, the more folks will actually get up off their ass and get out there in the streets.
While you're busy recommending this thread, go ahead and tell us what it is that's got you riled up.
Occupy Wall Street, Afghanistan, workers' rights, et cetera...
I'll kick things off: a co-worker told me, with a straight face, that Trayvon Martin was, "in the wrong place at the wrong time."
I told him, loudly I might add, that George Zimmerman was in the wrong place at the wrong time.
I'm marching for my kids, for my kids' kids, and for myself: We're all Trayvon Martin.
